It has arrived...BCS chaos is finally upon us. The AmStat Top 25 took a week off after several weeks of boring reprints of its rankings. Teams weren't being challenged, and it looked as if we were reshuffling instead of ranking. Two weeks later, major moves are coming up. Some teams that were ranked at the time of the week six rankings have lost two games since that last poll, and won't be anywhere to be found this week. Yesterday, two top ten programs had their national title hopes crippled unexpectedly by shocking losses. They will move down as well. Also, a certain team will be making their highest AmStat ranking of the season before embarking on an inevitable four-game losing streak (Sorry Kansas State, but you guys don't have a shot against Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, or Texas...those are your next four games by the way). Anyways, here's our view on the carnage after the year's most exciting week of football so far.
